ARIELLE's
Story

Arielle Nealy, a trailblazer both on and off the tennis court, emerged as a graduate in 2023 from the University of Louisville, leaving an indelible mark on the collegiate sports landscape. Her journey, defined by a commitment to excellence and a profound desire to make a difference, showcases a seamless integration of various sports milestones.

From mastering self-defense and earning a black belt in 2010 to dribbling her way onto the Olympic Development soccer team representing the state of New York in 2014, Arielle's athletic journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. In 2018, she embarked on her intercollegiate Division I tennis adventure, solidifying her status as a multifaceted athlete.

Arielle's ambitions extend far beyond personal achievements. Fueled by her own experiences as a recipient of scholarship-funded recreational activities, she has become one of the few African American women to lead a Division I Athletics treatment program. Her passion lies in creating opportunities for underprivileged athletes, inspiring the next generation, and fostering an inclusive industry where "fair play" is guaranteed for all.

A graduate with a degree in Health Care Management, Arielle seamlessly blends her love for sports with her academic prowess. Her vision materializes as a Director of Sports Medicine, addressing the race-based opportunity gaps prevalent in college sports. Arielle is determined to bridge these gaps by applying her knowledge of health information, policies, and advocacy to real-world intercollegiate sports matters.

Arielle's commitment extends to the creation of collegiate initiatives aimed at providing unique opportunities for nutrition and injury prevention education. Her emphasis on post-competition health competencies reflects her dedication to those who face challenges of racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic injustice in the world of sports.

As a proud graduate, Arielle Nealy stands as a beacon of change, ready to inspire, empower, and lead the way towards a more equitable and inclusive future in collegiate athletics.
